Why Can’t Export Workflows Just Get Along?

Violet Smith's avatarViolet Smith

Okay, so I’m juggling three different bank accounts, some PDFs, QuickBooks, and then there’s Rocket Statements. Feels like a circus. Can we talk about export workflows? Every time I try syncing QuickBooks, there’s this dance of converting files via Rocket Statements, exporting them cleanly, and still gotta check everything twice.

PDFs into CSVs, then making sure QuickBooks doesn’t hiccup with the import. One wrong format, and it’s redo time. Just me? Or do others also feel like this process is more hoop-jumping than actual work?

Tried using the Google Sheets addon, helps a bit, but still can be iffy. Nearly there, but I wish this could just be smoother. Anyone found magical combo of steps? Or do we just muddle through?

yeah the export shuffle is its own kind of fun 🙂. i’ve found creating template sheets that automatically organize imported data helps a bit. still some trial and error, but when things line up, it's like a small victory dance.

ah, the export tango 😄 been there! it's like, "can I just make this dance a tad more graceful?" sometimes a new combo of steps just clicks, other times, it's spreadsheets and a bit of luck. have you tried a G-Sheets macro for repetitive tasks? sometimes eases the juggle a bit.
